
Good evening all!A friend of mine wanted to brew a Strong Bitter for a casual competition in November and was looking to find a way to spice up his recipe without completely going away from the style. I wasn’t sure the best way to guide him so I decided to throw it to the group. Here is the recipe:Maris Otter - 9.5 lbs.British Crystal - 1.5 lbs.Kent Golding - 1 oz. hops at 60, 30, 15, and in the whirlpool.British Ale WLP005 yeastAny and all advice is most welcome.
