Homemade electrolyte powder?

I'm finding that relying on store-bought electrolyte powders is becoming expensive (I've tried Liquid IV, NormaLyte, and Lyteshow). I want to try to mix up something at home that will have the same effect for cheaper. Even just pink Himalayan salt in water has been somewhat helpful, but I want to up my game. There are lots of recipes online. Many include a combination of ingredients such as: sugar or honey (carbohydrates), salt (sodium chloride), salt substitutes like NuSalt or Morton's Lite Salt (potassium chloride), Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate), brewer’s gypsum (calcium sulfate), calcium carbonate, baking soda (sodium bicarbonate), and/or citric acid (for taste).Does anyone have a resource that outlines optimal ingredient ratios for hydration? Has anyone else tried and has thoughts on how to best approach this? Success stories and failures both welcome! via /r/POTS https://ift.tt/36GYbyk
