Frequently, when baking potatoes or vegetables, HelloFresh recipes will instruct you to "toss on the baking sheet" with olive oil, salt and pepper.I have had very bad experiences with this and I'm wondering if you've had the same. I don't know why you wouldn't just toss in a (large- to medium-sized) bowl instead. You can toss much more vigorously and evenly coat everything without having the pieces fly everywhere. Plus, because a bowl has a smaller footprint, all the oil / seasonings stay localized instead of getting pushed all over the surface.I had a batch of potatoes get hard-baked onto the sheet recently despite my best attempts to "toss on the sheet," which never would have happened if I just tossed them in a bowl.Tl;dr: Tossing on a baking sheet seems significantly worse than tossing in a bowl. So why is this "standard procedure" for HF? via /r/hellofresh https://ift.tt/3aVvzF5
