What is the meaning of "needing to fix your factory" ?

With update 3 coming soon CSS told us that we'll have to fix our factories because there will be lits of changes. But I'm just wondering how will they fuck up our factories. The only real way to me would be other shapes of buildings or changing the recipes so tu make encased steal beams you'll need steal tubes instead of beams for example.
