How much oil is absorbed by chicken?


I used this recipe for chicken strips and they turned out super fucking good for those of you who are wondering. I used a pint of avocado oil (unlike the 1 quart the recipe calls for) and I’m logging everything into Cronometer but I don’t know how much I should put down for the avocado oil.Obviously some oil is absorbed by the chicken and/or the whey protein/parmesan. I found a research paper online stating that whey protein powder acts as a shield for oil and it reduces the amount of oil absorbed by (regularly breaded) chicken strips and they didn’t taste particularly oily.So how much should I put down?
