Post-First Colonoscopy Advice?

Hey guys, I recently just had my first-ever colonoscopy. It wasn't that bad; I was more nervous than I should've been, but I've never been IV-sedated or anything like that before. When I woke up in the recovery unit, I found that the doctor had taken 3 biopsies which I'll figure out the results for in a couple of weeks, but now that I'm all home and sore (and hungry!!) I have a few questions. For those who have had biopsies, is it okay to eat the day I come home? Should I fast for a couple more days to let the colon rest? I've seen posts from people who were told to, but others never mentioned this.If I can eat, are there any specific foods I should avoid because of the biopsy? I don't want to cause any problems.About how long does it take for the aches of the procedure to go away? Would heat/ice benefit me at all?Optional, but any favorite post-colonoscopy foods / recipes you recommend? Thanks guys <3 via /r/CrohnsDisease https://www.reddit.com/r/CrohnsDisease/comments/d1zi62/postfirst_colonoscopy_advice/?utm_source=ifttt
