[Homemade] Made my own tandoori chicken, Didn't turn out as red as expected

I made the claim that there is no food coloring but only shitton paprika and red chilli. Well the results didn't turn out as red as expected.So I gave my mom a call and asked how did she made red tandoori chicken and he dropped the food color bomb...i was devastated. I asked why she never told us, she claimed it is a secret. I wonder how many other secrets is she hiding?so there you have it, my whole life i was deceived, lied, and misled into believing that red color is from spices.
