Making a site/app that doesn’t suck

Ok so you know how every time you go to look up a recipe it’s a pain? I usually just click on one of the first 5 google results and then you get to the page, which is a pop-up nightmare and then you have to scroll through a mile of text to finally get to the recipe. Everyone knows this experience, I’ve heard 1000 people and at least 3 stand up comics make the same observation. So how has no one come up with a good website or app yet? I’m thinking like a recipe WikipediaHere’s my pitch. So I would make a site/app that is kinda like reddit in a way where you can make a profile/user name. The site would be as plain as possible and have no pop ups or obnoxious ads period. Just a simple search bar and a few category tabs at the top. Every recipe page would be white screen/black text and just be a list of ingredients and a short step by step instructions.All the recipes would be user submitted and if they were a recipe they got from somewhere else they would be strongly encouraged to post a link at the bottom of the recipe. Then it would be an up/down voting system like reddit where the best recipes would rise to the top. Also in the ingredients/amounts section of the recipe users could add or minus ingredients if that’s how they made the recipe and they thought it turned out better. You could get like a user average and that would be shown in parenthesis. Ex: 2 cloves garlic (6 cloves-user average). So then all the recipes would be tweaked by 1000s of cooks, hopefully resulting in great recipes. I often check the comments under a recipe and find this happening anyway, like 5 different people will say, “recipe says bake for 30 minutes, but I ended having to keep it in for an hour”, so this could kind of stream line that.Anyway does something like this exist? Hopefully it does could if love to use it!! If not, do you guys think it’s a good idea? Would you use it, and do you have any suggestions to make this idea better? Lemme know!! liposomal C

I'm trying to get my head around this:Liposomal Vitamin C (C wrapped in lecithin) is an expensive alternative to taking ascorbic acid powder.- It is believed that by putting the ascorbic acid into a liposomal encasement the body can tolerate more of it before one starts to get diaria and just flushes it out. They call it bowel tolerance levels.- you have to get up to large doses of ascorbic acid before that happens. Maybe 20gms a day?- studies I've found measuring C in the blood over time make it appear that 1gm of ascorbic acid vit C gets into the blood about the same as 1gm of Vit C in a liposomal C. The ascorbic acid goes in faster and peaks vs the liposomal that gets in slower and a little more sustained, but overall it's about the same area under the curve.I don't take that much ascorbic acid so I am wondering if that non diaria benefit of liposomal C is at all a factor considering that I take about 5 gms a day spaced out over 3 doses, way below bowel tolerance.I am making my own liposomal C per a recipe I've come across* to save on cost but still I am wondering if it is worth doing at all if the main benefit is for people taking very high (>20gms a day) doses of C, and I'm not one of them?Or is there something I am missing?*some people think that homemade liposomals are not the same as the expensive brands that come in packets but that is not the issue here. Solcial media equals TV, how to get rid of "good for nothing" content.

What/how would you avoid this bad content from coming up? Those videos about "health recipes" that are only lies, those about "cheating people" (in love), all that kind of content that lie and they talk a lot but don't say anything..., mainstream content I think.I think I know how Internet works, and I know is like imposible, and that is all about "training your browse algorithm", and I know that even if I clean the accounts like new, there's always that hole there to fall again. Has anyone tried making their own beer cheese?

I freaking love the locally made beer cheese you buy in the small 8 oz. tubs in like Liquor Barn.The thing is, when I search online, I don't trust any of the hits to be "true" beer cheese recipes. Not only that, all of them differ a LOT on the ingredients. One will say a small amount of an IPA. Another will say a whole bottle of a stout (for the same amount of cheese). One will say onions. One will say no onions. One will say dry mustard. One will say Dijon mustard.I know, obviously, they're all different because all beer cheese is different - but I'd like to try making my own - one that was super smooth, creamy, and had the actual consistency. Red State Beer Cheese is the best I've had lately - it's less thicker than others I've had but has an amazing flavor and consistency. Especially for burgers and hotdogs.Anyway - has anyone tried making their own? Is the core of making it pretty much just sharp cheddar and beer, then go crazy with whatever you like? Vitamix Recipe hack- Kale and Leak Soup

Found this recipe on the Vitamix Perfect blend app and decided to try it since it only calls for three ingredients. On the app it says to use chicken broth, while on the website it says to use vegatable broth. I tried them both ways and it definitely tastes better with the vegetable broth.https://ift.tt/3eTyPm7 also highly recommend adding bacon to this recipe as someone else recommended.
