I made a vegetable soup!


Here is a picture of it. I fried up some diced carrots, celery, garlic, onions, and red hot chilli peppers in a pot for about 5 mins with about 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Then I poured in two cups of chicken broth and 2 cups of water and simmered it for 15 mins. I then poured in half a can of diced tomatoes and continued to simmer it for another 15 mins. I then took some kale, mint, cilantro, and parsley and put them into the pot with some black pepper and simmered for 10 mins. Then I was finished. It's really tasty! Next time I might add potatoes, rice, broccoli, cabbage, beef cubes, spaghetti noodles. Right now I'm just using up leftovers. via /r/food http://ift.tt/2scUEb4
