Looking for a game

Hey guys,Ill get straight to the point, I am looking for a new game to play. The sorta game that is long, challenging and has a great story line but thats optional and also available offline.Iv already had some suggestions from my friends and most were dark souls 2&3 though i don't know which is better.i'v played mount and blade and really liked it but when you take over the whole map easily, its not a challenge anymore. Anyone who's a pc gamer freak know any good games out there.Thanks for the advice in advanceEdit: the type of games are more of a open world, adventure.
