At one point we had a community as large as 30 online at a time, however after Ark went through its death phase, most players left the game entirely. I don't have many chances to respond via Reddit.Our RP story is quite simple, you have been abducted and put onto the Ark by an alien humanoid species, and you are one of the many stars of their hit reality survival T.V. show Primal Desires. Your character may be from any universe and any time as the alien species can freely travel between different dimensions and time. People on the Ark tend to go insane as a coping mechanism to adapt to their new life, and they often deny that there is any alien overlords.What makes us different from other servers?Most importantly, there is no admin abuse. No one here is hungry for power, so you can feel assured to get a true experience of the game alongside us.Automatic updates mean you'll never have downtime when admins aren't online.We have finely tuned MANY settings in order to provide an experience that is challenging, yet very smooth and not too tedious.We keep game balance as our top priority. What this means is we don’t want to make things too easy, or too overpowered. Our taming rates for instance are locked at x3 as you should find it to be challenging to tame something good. Also, we don’t want kibble/other taming items to be redundant. This also provides a stronger attachment to something once it’s tamed, and tamed well.We have a unique reward currency system, where you can earn shiny gold coins to buy rewards such as color changes for your dinos, cosmetic skins, and other unique prizes! You can earn these coins by finding them hidden on the map, in beacon drops, participating in events, or answering trivia questions!We have disabled offline raid protection in order to keep the game more realistic, and to provide the same feeling the original game had when you really had to invest in base defenses.A friendly community is here to answer any questions you may have. We're very newbie friendly here!Community run, all server changes, mods added, wipe dates etc are done by the clear majority vote of all players. Don't be afraid to make suggestions! Anything else is considered excessive destruction.Do not interrupt tames. A tame is claimed as soon as a tribe begins shooting it with tranquilizers or if they put it into their own taming pen.No drowning tamed dinos or using wild dinos to kill tamed dinos UNLESS you are using a pheromone dart (you still may never intentionally drown dinos).When raiding, do NOT drop items for them to despawn, put the items in a nearby unlocked container (if available) for the player to claim later. Intentionally despawning items is considered griefing.You may not ever use a flyer to pick an enemy player up. It's cheap and makes PvP very linear and uninteresting.Griefing will not be tolerated. Griefing; "In online gaming, someone who takes pleasure in creating grief for an opponent via various "cheap" tactics."If you are gone for longer than 2 weeks, a player may request all your structures be destroyed unless you let an admin know you are going to be back later than then.TAMED DINO LIMITS: 1 Titanosaurus per tribe. 1 Rock Golem per tribe.RP RulesAll basic server rules apply to RPNo Metagaming. Metagaming is an "out of character" action where a player's character makes use of knowledge that the player is aware of but that the character is not meant to be aware of.No RDM, this means you cannot go around randomly killing people just because your character is evil or possessed or whatever other excuse you have. The person you kill must know why they're being killed and there must be some sort of interaction before it happens.No new life rule, when you die, you keep coming back to life as you cannot truly die on the Ark. If you want to kill off your character you can create a reason as to why they suddenly disappear, but typical death is not an acceptable reason.No roleplaying sexual assault.Please do not join if you won't rebuild and get revenge when you get raided. There are many players willing to help those that are raided.The goal of our server is to have a great and fun community that enjoys trading and working together as well as the edge that PvP/raiding provides.Drop information:White Novice Supply - Contains various items with the intent of helping newer players.
