Differing Opinion on the Mississippi Pot Roast

I just wanna offer a differing opinion on the Mississippi Pot Roast. I want to point out that initially it seems pretty good. It smells good. First bites are good but this is where we change paths. Being that it uses two packets of mixes that would be better prepared by using actual recipes, it automatically starts tasting like canned beef products. Think if Dinty Moore beef stew had a crossover with Doritos Jacked. Then on top of that, if you ever get indigestion from red meat and also intensely spiced foods with way too much salt, avoid this. That’s the main reason I’m writing this because I felt pretty certain this dish wouldn’t affect me too much.Wrong.It’s 2:06 AM and I’m reviewing a roast beef recipe because it gave me such bad indigestion that I woke up choking on reflux/Mississippi Bile. So if you’re used to slow cooking for a more natural, good for you dish that avoids most of the additional ingredient issues of processed food, avoid this. The au jus makes it taste too pre-packaged and the ranch flavoring makes it taste too fast food America. If anyone ever had that terrible pot roast sandwich from Arby’s 10-15 years ago, think that. via /r/slowcooking http://ift.tt/2od4qFK
