White to rare Horadric Cube stuff

I always wanted to see a few more cool Horadric Cube recipes in d2. My number 1 thought would be a white item or eth item to rare. It could require a higher mid rune like pul or something. It would make white bases more trade able. I love Runewords but when you find that one godly rare item it is almost more satisfying than creating a godly Runeword. Also upping set items could be another one to make use of lower end sets in higher level content. Another could be eth items to white items and socketed items to white items. Downgrading gems could be another cuz who wants to grind low level stuff to get that normal gem to cube runes. One big one for me would be magic rings and Ammys to rare. It would all be luck to get a good rare ring or ammy, but it would be a cool currency dump. Just a couple quick thoughts on broadening the cube recipes. Please comment if you have some other cool ideas that we could better utilize the Horadric Cube.
