One slowcooker, 24 hrs, and stressed out

So I just found out I have a date night tomorrow. I perfectly fine cooking for a date night, the only problem is I'm moving between apartments right now on top of working at my job. Currently I have moved in my slowcooker and a cutting board and my knifes with some other basic kitchen sundries.I have about 6 hours between when I get off work and zero hour, just enough time to get a simple beef stew in the pot on high.Looking for advice or other recipes you would suggest.
