Shallow/Fine Scratches on Inside of Inner Pot

Hey everyone I just had a quick question/concern about my Instapot I was hoping someone could answer!I received an Instapot for my birthday from my girlfriend and I used it for the first today to make chicken which turned out great! It was a great first time experience until I went to clean the inner pot. I guess I was so excited about finally having and using the Instapot I didn’t stop to think that I was using a scouring pad which I normally use to do the dishes to clean in the inner pot inside. Now my inner pot has a bunch of fine scratches along the bottom of the pot :(. None are deep as I was hardly using pressure as it was practically clean, but I’m worried I’ve ruined the inner pot. I know it’s not chemically treated nor does it have a non stick layer, but will the scratches affect its ability at all, or make it a lot harder to clean/have food stick to it that much easier?I’m just really upset at myself for ruining such a great gift after it’s first use and bummed out. Any words of advice would be appreciated. On another note please feel free to comment your favourite recipes, especially if anyone has any awesome stew, chili ones! Also if anyone has tips on making yogurt I’d really appreciate that!! Thanks everyone. via /r/instantpot https://ift.tt/2ty3LCe
