Craft beer sucks now.

I used to love the stuff. "My favorite beer is one I haven't tried yet" was my old motto. If I traveled to a new city, the first place I'd check out were the local microbreweries.I loved IPAs and Porters and used to enjoy them extensively. Now, Bud Light is too sweet/syrupy for me. I thought that the random IPA or stout I'd 'cheat' for on occasion was just a bad one that I didn't like. Eventually that became a common problem no matter which one I tried. So, naturally after trying my old favorites, somehow their recipe was changed and they just weren't as good any more. Then, it eventually clicked. If it has more carbs than a Miller Lite, the beer just tastes like I'm drinking sludge, and even that's starting to come out as too sweet and syrupy for my liking.Honestly, this is a good thing. I can't justify drinking as much as I used to. Liquor and diet mixers suck, beer sucks now, and shots are always trouble.I hit my goal weight and my palate/lifestyle has changed too much to switch off of keto without putting in effort/doing things I dislike now. Sweet things put me off and even a little bit of pasta/bread tastes like I'm sucking on a sugar cube. I feel like I've hit the opposite of the problem before I made the plunge, where switching my lifestyle and palate were hurdles to initiate the weight loss.So drinking no longer being enjoyable and not being able to fit into my old jeans are the biggest problems in my life right now, all thanks to Keto. Thanks for being such a great resource, /r/keto. via /r/keto https://ift.tt/2yWMR5w
