More a PSA than recipe: Aldi zero carb bread works for bread pudding

I had most of a loaf that I didn’t want to go to waste. So I dried it out in my toaster oven and followed a basic bread pudding recipe like this:https://ift.tt/37eHlap I subbed the sugar, used cream. I also didn’t make the bourbon sauce (I might make a caramel allulose sauce tomorrow). I added some choc zero white chocolate chips.I also followed some other advice I’ve seen on Reddit for bread pudding. I let the bread soak in the custard overnight, and I baked it with another pan on top weighing down the ingredients, because I like dense bread pudding. The result is a very passable bread pudding. I think that I could’ve used one fewer egg, a little more sweetener, and it definitely needs some kind of sauce. My favorite kinds of restaurant bread puddings are apple or banana, and I don’t see a way to replicate that, but it’s nice having the texture. via /r/ketorecipes https://ift.tt/2tHTNBE
