Grocery store cheese curds

I live in Virginia and have been seeing packaged cheese curds popping up in my local grocery stores. Does anyone with experience eating fresh ones recommend that I try them? Are they something that doesn't age or travel well? via /r/food http://ift.tt/2umHucR
