Did I ruin my batch?

Hi there! I'm just starting to make mead, this is my first actual go at it and I want some advice. I've had this batch of cherry mead go through primary fermentation for about a month. When I came back to it I racked the must to a carboy and added a quarter of a tsp some Sodium Metabisulphite to the 3 gallons of content. I waited 2 weeks and there seems to be no activity with the yeast. Did I kill my yeast? I went back and added more honey (since I reviewed the recipe and saw that I needed a little more) and 3/4 tsp of yeast. Since then it has been about 40 hours. What should I do? Should I add more yeast and some raisins? Should i drop this and start a new batch? via /r/mead https://ift.tt/2zIW2El
