Since the new types of nether wood do not burn, boats made out of them can be used in lava.

I noticed that although their are trapdoor, slabs, stairs, ect. for both warped and crimson planks, there is no boat recipe for those wood types. Since they are nether inhabiting trees that do not burn, it would make it easier to explore the improved nether if we could build lava-going nonflammable boats out of them. via /r/minecraftsuggestions https://ift.tt/39h47Qb
