
Hey, guys I followed Joshua Weismans flour tortillas recipe in the link below and for some reasons the tortillas just wouldn't puff up. They came out more like a dense flat bread rather than a tortilla. It was very doughy and not fluffy. I checked my baking powder to see if it was old and it fizzed when I put it in hot water so that isn't the issue. I followed the recipe with weight measurements so I was wondering if the problem came from me maybe not distributing the fat well enough throughout the dough( I used rendered pork fat) or did I over knead the dough because I did feel like the dough was a little too elasticy when I was rolling them out Thank you 😊https://youtu.be/ynexTOjHbRs via /r/AskCulinary https://ift.tt/37CMmd4
