I escaped the tight grasp of the officer, pushing him with my whole body onto his back, and ran as fast as I could towards her with the remaining energy I had left. Two more officers rushed towards me, and with the adrenaline, joy and anger inside me – it was a recipe for a disaster. Without a second thought I rugby tackled the officer closest to me and grabbed as I tight as I could onto his gun, his grip became tighter leaving me no choice but to take it by force, I grabbed onto his head and started beating it into the concrete, the rhythmic beating of his head on the solid concrete, the crunch of the bones, the yell for help, made me remember why I loved this, after a few punches to the face and kicks to the stomach, his hand became loose and the gun fell into my hand, within a second I felt an arm go around my neck pulling me off the almost lifeless body. I was being dragged backwards by my neck, I scratched and punched his arm with all my might and then when he let go for a second to find his grip again, I grabbed the persons arm and broke it like a twig, the satisfying crunch gave me a boot, which was shorty followed by a yell of pain and fear from the person. I smiled to myself, as I tried to run off again a bullet glazed my arm, leaving a weird yet satisfying pain with it. They said they know everything about me, yet one thing they missed out, its that I live for moments like this. I jumped onto my back and quickly scanned what’s in front of me and aimed for anyone in an arms lengths. I got onto my knees and then onto my feet again, and ran. As fast as I could. Everything started going silent, the only thing I was forced on was her. Jumping over lifeless body’s for me was like a walk in the park. The pools of blood underneath each body, and the screams of agonising pain made me want to scream myself, but with joy. The streets were lit blue and red, with a occasional streaks of white light from the firing guns. I fetched myself another gun off of a body and shot anything in front of me, watching the officers roll and jump into cover reminded me of a ballet, how swiftly and in sync they jumped out of my way. The distance between us grew smaller, she was at an arms length, when once again I felt a fight grasp around my neck and another one on my arm. I started to panic, I can’t let it end yet, the show has just begun. With my free hand I scratched the officers eyes, making them fill with tears and blood. He screamed and his grasp became tighter. Another officer rushed towards me, he punched me in the face and grabbed my other arm. They shook my hand uncontrollably until the gun fell right out. I was dragged onto my back then quickly turned onto my stomach, as one had me pinned down so hard that it started getting hard to breath, the other put handcuffs on me so tight that I could feel my own wrists crunch. I felt powerless, the whole adrenaline rush I had in me disappeared, and all I could do now was gasp for air. I felt a small, sharp pain in my neck. The officers were saying something but it felt like it was all in small motion, my eye became heavier and my breath was deeper. As I looked up to her, I could see the stream of tears falling down and the redness in her eyes, as she ran away and into an officers arms, with the power I had left in me I screamed, “daddy will be back for you baby girl. I promise.” Her scream of sheer panic was like a lullaby for me, as I was then lifted from the ground her scream continued. I couldn’t see anymore, it all went black but her uncomfortable scream was what put a smile on my face before being thrown into a vehicle.I woke up in a place I new all too well, my cell. With the scratches and blood stains I had left before my escape. But don’t you worry, baby girl. We’ll see each other soon again. Daddy always keeps his promise. via /r/shortstory https://ift.tt/39mZRyS
