Rice Lager, Sulphur, Copper, and Dumbassery

I recently brewed up another round of Vietnamese Bia Hoi. This was my second attempt after the first batch came out absolutely delicious last summer. I tweaked the recipe a bit this time (~75% Pilsner, ~25% Flaked Rice, OG of 1.031 pitched with Diamond Lager) and wound up with a whole load of sulfur. In an attempt to get rid of the smell I bought a copper elbow, cleaned it, sanitized it, and dangled it from some fishing line in the keg. As soon as I pulled the PRV, the dental floss slipped under the lid and the pipe fell to the bottom of the keg.Do I just leave it there, or should I sanitize another keg and transfer it over? I know copper isn't typically used cold side, but I'm not completely sure why. via /r/Homebrewing https://ift.tt/39FrtiI
