Just installed an Almost Heaven Grayson cedar sauna. It went together pretty well with some challenge with sliding the partially constructed sauna into it's corner home and then leveling it. In hindsight I might have pre-built a level pad that could have slid with it but it is in and works!I am looking for advice on how to finish the floor. Originally I was just going to glue the shims in and then seal the gap with Great Stuff and install duckboard modules. But even when heated up the concrete floor is very cold and I am a little concerned with the mess and fumes associated with Great Stuff. I am thinking I might finish the shimming, put a temporary dam around the outside and then pouring in some concrete leveler. (Ideally a vermiculate leveler if I can find a recipe). I've also played with getting a 1/2" wool felt mat and calling it good. I chose this sauna due to the potential to break it down and bring it with me if I ever move which would be complicated with a concrete pad. I've also thought of laying down some shimmed Durock with cedar planks floating on top.Any ideas or advice is most welcome.https://ift.tt/2w4KLQ1 via /r/Sauna https://ift.tt/2OL3mHn
